Originally from Sudbury Ontario, Ms. Williamson is an honours BFA graduate from Ryerson University’s Dance Program. She had the honour of working under the direction of Nadia Potts where she continued her training in ballet, modern and jazz. Prior to University, she received professional training from The National Ballet School and the Quintee Ballet School. Her dance performance credits include: Tino Seghal’s Kiss at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Death in Venice and Iphignie en Tauris with the Canadian Opera Company, and Angelina Ballerina -The Musical with Vital Theatre Company. Theatre credits include Monterone’s Daughter in the COC’s production of Rigoletto and the Princess in Open Corps’ production of The Soldier’s Tale. She has also performed as a Principal Dancer for Cadence Progressive Contemporary Ballet Company as well as independently for many dance companies in Toronto.
She has several years of dance teaching experience and is certified through the Society of Russian Ballet in Canada. She has choreographed for and co-directed several children's theatre productions with Lock and Keynote Productions including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. She also has experience in the film industry, as an actor and dancer in commercials and movies. Look for her in American Girl’s movie Isabelle Dances Into the Spotlight where she performed as member of the corps de ballet. Ms. Williamson, a skilled and passionate teacher, choreographer, adjudicator and actor, is constantly expanding her skills as a multi-faceted performer. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Education at York University.
