Inclusivity
Lock and Keynote promises to provide a safe and inclusive environment. All participants will make an effort to support and encourage their fellow performers at all times. Failure to do so, after reasonable warning, may result in a suspension of privileges.

Respecting property
All participants are required to respect the space we are in and the property of others. Doing otherwise will not be tolerated and the participant may be asked to withdraw from the camp.

Participation
Cell phone use is restricted to break time, unless permission is granted by a teacher.

There will be rare instances where students will be sitting and waiting for their turn during a rehearsal. When this happens, we ask that students stay active, sit with the rest of the group, and follow along in the script.

Throughout the session, there will be many fun theatre games. All of them will be closely supervised by one of our staff. If a participant has any issues or concerns with any of our activities, he or she is encouraged to speak to one of the directors about this discomfort.

Bathroom Usage
We highly encourage campers to anticipate their washroom needs and use their breaks to go to the bathroom! Students leaving rehearsal to use the bathroom highly disrupts our progress and makes it necessary for us to revisit scenes already staged. Please let us know if there is a medical reason a student should be exempt from this policy.

We often ask that students go to the washroom in pairs.

Food
Our general food restrictions are as follows: no nuts, no popcorn, no gum. Please check your welcome package for your specific program for any further restrictions.

Daily Clean-up
At the end of each break, students are expected to clean up their eating area entirely. Teachers will not release students at the end of the day until their area is free of garbage and belongings.

End of Show
After our final show, students are asked to clean up their dressing area and bring all of their belongings and borrowed items to the designated area (which is often the stage). Once all items are accounted for and clean-up is entirely done, students will be dismissed all at the same time. This process usually takes around 15 minutes if everyone helps!
