Past Projects

Join us for our first Toronto musical theatre program!

After 11 years producing musical theatre camps in Northern Ontario and Newfoundland, Lock and Keynote Productions makes its debut in Toronto, in the Upper Beaches area. This eight-month program culminates in a full-scale original musical, written by acclaimed author Vikki VanSickle (Words That Start With B, If I Had A Gryphon). This show will equally feature all participants and their unique strengths and talents.

The first few sessions of the intensive will be spent playing trust-building theatre games and honing performance and audition skills. Auditions early in the session will allow for performance experience in a safe peer environment— everyone will learn the same song, and will have the option to audition with a friend if they feel nervous.

Students will work with experienced actors, singers and dancers, and rehearsal time will be divided between acting, singing, and dance training, using the script and songs as material. Our process is intensive but very rewarding. Lock and Keynote is known not only for a professional process but also a polished product; our shows serve as high quality entertainment for the surrounding community.
